Ще бъдат представени общите концепции за цялостното превеждане на сайт на език, различен от английски, както и въвеждането на втори (или повече) езици. Ще бъдат обсъдени по-популярните подходи за това, включвайки използването на две отделни WordPress инсталации, Multisite мрежа, разширенията Polylang, WPML, qTranslate X, Loco Translate, Codestyling Localization, някои други, както и защо част от тях не бива да се използват в повечето случаи.
Ще бъде демонстрирана работата по настройването на двуезичност за сайт и ще минем през някои от най-често срещаните проблеми и техните решения.
Translating and adding multilingual support to WordPress-based websites
During this workshop Vladimir will present the general concepts of the full website translation in a language, different from English, as well as the introduction of a second (or more) languages. The more popular options to do that will be discussed, including the use of two separate WordPress installations, Multisite network, the plugins Polylang, WPML, qTranslate X, Loco Translate, Codestyling Localization, some others, as well as why part of them are not to be used in most cases.
Vladimir will demonstrate the work on setting up a bilingual website and will show you the most common issues and their solutions.
