Was das f\u00fcr euch bedeutet beschreiben wir weiter unten.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Aufgrund der aktuellen Lage durch das Corona-Virus haben wir in Absprache mit dem WordPress Community Support entschieden, dass eine Verschiebung des Retreats die beste L\u00f6sung ist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Gerade durch das besondere Format (alle \u00fcber einen l\u00e4ngeren Zeitraum an einem Ort einschlie\u00dflich \u00dcbernachtung) haben wir bei dem WordCamp Retreat einen deutlich h\u00f6heren Kostenfaktor als bei \u00fcblichen WordCamps. Je l\u00e4nger wir die Entscheidung hinausz\u00f6gern desto h\u00f6her wird das Kostenrisiko f\u00fcr uns (Storno-Geb\u00fchren durch das Hotel) sowie f\u00fcr euch als Teilnehmer (Bahn-Tickets, Anreisekosten, Storno-Geb\u00fchren f\u00fcr die Hotelzimmer). Leider k\u00f6nnen wir aufgrund dieser Faktoren unsere wie auch eure Planungssicherheit nicht gew\u00e4hrleisten. Heute war der letzte Tag, an dem wir dies kostenneutral so entscheiden konnten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Wir sind von dem Konzept des WordCamp Retreats \u00fcberzeugt und haben uns deshalb f\u00fcr eine Verschiebung des Events entschieden. In Absprache mit dem Hotel Park Soltau findet das WordCamp Retreat voraussichtlich Anfang Mai 2021 statt. Einen genauen Termin ver\u00f6ffentlichen wir sobald wir den Zeitpunkt mit dem Hotel und dem WordPress Community Support vereinbart haben.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mit allen, die bereits ein Ticket gebucht haben, werden wir zeitnah Kontakt aufnehmen.<br>Sponsoren werden von uns ebenso wie Speaker und Volunteers kontaktiert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Wir freuen uns \u00fcber euer Verst\u00e4ndnis. Stay safe!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Das Orga-Team<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"en\">English Version<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To everyone that is interested in WordCamp Retreat Soltau<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dear people,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Unfortunately we have to inform you that we will postpone the WordCamp Retreat for one year. What this means for you is described below.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Due to the current situation surrounding the Corona virus we have decided in consultation with the WordPress Community Support that a postponement of the Retreat is the best solution.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Because of the special format (with all attendees being together over a longer period of time at one place including overnight stay) we have a much higher cost factor than usual WordCamps. The longer we delay the decision the higher the cost risk for us (cancellation fees of the hotel) as well as for you as participants (train tickets, travel costs, cancellation fees for the hotel rooms). Unfortunately, we can\u2019t securely move forward without the risk being too high for us as well as you. Today was the last day on which we could decide this cost-neutral.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are convinced of the concept of the WordCamp Retreat and have therefore decided to postpone the event. In agreement with the Hotel Park Soltau the WordCamp Retreat will probably take place at the beginning of May 2021. We will publish an exact date as soon as we have arranged the date with the hotel and the WordPress Community Support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We will contact everyone who has already booked a ticket as soon as possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sponsors will be contacted by us as well as speakers and volunteers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We appreciate your understanding.
