Wir zählen nicht mehr die Tage sondern die Stunden…
Das komplette Orga-Team ist bereits vor Ort und freut sich auf die vielen WordCamper, um dem ersten WordCamp Retreat Leben einzuhauchen.
Bevor ihr euch auf den Weg macht, hier noch ein paar Informationen:
Achtung! In Soltau wird gebaut!
So erreicht ihr das Hotel aus Richtung Hamburg und Hannover:
Die Ausfahrt Soltau-Süd am Besten meiden.
Stattdessen die Ausfahrt Soltau-Ost nehmen, auf die B71 Richtung Soltau.
Im Ortsteil “Harber” rechts auf die Oeninger Landstraße abbiegen, Richtung Heidepark Soltau. Achtung, hier werden oft teure Fotos gemacht!
Weiter auf die Landstraße bis zum Kreisel fahren, dann die 3. Ausfahrt in Richtung Soltau nehmen und auf die Winsener Straße fahren. Nach ca. 2,5 Km kommt auf der rechten Seite der Hotel Park Soltau direkt nach dem Bahnübergang.

Check-In und Bezahlen im Hotel
Der offizielle Check-In beginnt am Donnerstag den 3. Mai 2018 um 16.00 Uhr. Unser Orga-Team und unsere fleißigen Volunteers sind dann für euch vor Ort.
Der Checkout sollte für alle Gäste, die am Sonntag abreisen, vor 10.00 Uhr erfolgen.
Um lange Wartezeiten am Empfang zu vermeiden, empfehlen wir, die Rechnung für die Zimmer während des Aufenthalts an der Rezeption zu begleichen. Dies kann auch bereits während des Check-Ins erfolgen.
Gepäck kann am Sonntag vor Ort zwischengelagert werden.
Nachdem ihr euer Zimmer bezogen und euch eingerichtet habt, lädt das Hotelambiente zum gemütlichen Verweilen und Networking ein. Ab 18.00 Uhr könnt ihr auf der gemütlichen Restaurant-Terrasse anstoßen und ab 19.00 Uhr gibt es ein Buffet für Selbstzahler (14,50€ pro Person).
Danach öffnet auch die Hotelbar (für Selbstzahler) mit Darts, Kicker, Billard und Kegelbahnen, aber auch das Außengelände bietet unzählige Möglichkeiten um gemütliche Stunden mit der Community zu verbringen.
Um 9.30 startet das WordCamp offiziell mit der Eröffnung im Böhmesaal. Davor gibt es aber ein reichhaltiges Frühstück im Hotelrestaurant und auch unserer ersten Morgenaktivitäten starten bereits um 8.00 Uhr. Treffpunkte hierfür sind die Lobby, für das Früh-Jogging und der Raum “Stuttgart” für die Meditation.
Am Freitagmorgen könnt ihr dann auch die begehrten WordCamp Retreat T-shirts an unserer Swag-Station abholen.

We’re not counting the days anymore, we’re counting the hours …
The entire organization team is already on site and we’re looking forward to the many WordCamp visitors to breathe life into the first WordCamp Retreat.
Before you make your way, here’s some information:
This is how you reach the hotel from the direction of Hamburg and Hanover:
You can best avoid exit Soltau-Süd.
Instead, take the exit Soltau-Ost, take the B71 towards Soltau.
In the district „Harber“ turn right onto Oeninger Landstraße, direction Heidepark Soltau. Keep in mind that police often put up traffic control cameras there!
Continue on the main road until the roundabout, then take the 3rd exit towards Soltau and drive onto Winsener Straße. After about 2.5 km you’ll see theHotel Park Soltau on the right side, directly after the railroad crossing.

Check-in and payment at the hotel
Official check-in will begin on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at 16:00. Our organizing team and our diligent volunteers will be there for you.
The checkout should be done before 10.00 am for all guests departing on Sunday.
In order to avoid long waiting times at the reception, we recommend settling the bill for the rooms somewhere during your stay at the reception. You don’t have to wait until Sunday, this can also be done during the check-in.
Luggage can be stored on location on Sunday.
After you have moved into your room and set up, the hotel ambience invites you to linger and socialize. From 6:00 pm you can toast on the cozy restaurant terrace and from 19.00 o’clock there is a buffet for self-payers (14,50 € per person).
After that, the hotel bar will open (for self-payers) with darts, table football, billiards and bowling alleys, but also the outdoor area offers countless opportunities to spend comfortable hours with the community.
At 9.30 the WordCamp officially starts with the opening in the Böhmesaal. Before that there is a rich breakfast in the hotel restaurant and we’ll also our see first morning activities start at 8.00 o’clock. Meeting points are the lobby for the morning jogging round and the room „Stuttgart“ for meditation.
On Friday morning, you can pick up the coveted WordCamp Retreat T-shirts at our swag station.
