Call for Voluteers für den 4. 5. und 6. Mai

Wir wollen Dich motivieren für die WordPress-Community aktiv zu werden. Werde Teil eines Teams aus Freiwilligen, die das Projekt nach vorne bringen und tragen. Das freiwillige Helfen bei WordCamps ist eine von vielen wunderbaren Gelegenheiten, etwas an WordPress und seine großartige Community zurückzugeben.

Was wir von Dir erwarten

Deine Aufmerksamkeit und Unterstützung bei der Arbeit, die im Rahmen des WordCamp Retreat geleistet werden muss.

Über Deine Hilfe in diesen Bereichen würden wir uns freuen:

• Übertrage Deine Begeisterung auf die Community und heiße die Teilnehmer mit Deinem strahlensten Lächeln willkommen. Du bist das Gesicht des WordCamp Retreat.
• Mache die Menschen glücklich, überreiche ihnen ihren besonderen #WCRETREAT  Swag.
• Lasse das WordCamp auch danach weiterleben und arbeite im Videoteam mit.
• Motiviere unsere unsere Speaker, Workshop- und Activityleiter und Sponsoren vor Ort und stehe als Ansprechpartner zur Verfügung.
• Helfe dem Orga-Team und den Teilnehmern bei sonstigen Aufgaben, die während des WordCamps anfallen.

Du wirst Teil eines einzigartigen Teams sein, viele alte und neue Bekannte treffen, und maßgeblich daran teilhaben, dass das WordCamp Retreat eine wundervolle, erschwingliche, inklusive und für alle zugängliche Erfahrung wird. Unserer unendlichen Dankbarkeit darfst Du Dir außerdem sicher sein!

We’d like to motivate you to be active for the WordPress community. Become part of a team of volunteers who help bring the project forward. Volunteering at WordCamps is one of many wonderful opportunities to return something to WordPress and its great community.

What we expect from you

Your attention and support in the work that must be done during the WordCamp Retreat.

We’d be pleased about your help in these areas

• Bring across your enthusiasm to the community and welcome the participants with your brightest smile. You are the face of the WordCamp Retreat.
• Make people happy, hand them their special #WCRETREAT swag.
• Let the WordCamp live on and work with the video team.
• Motivate our speakers, workshop and activity leaders and sponsors on site and be available as a contact person.
• Help the Orga team and participants with other tasks that occur during the WordCamp.

You will be part of a unique team, meet many new and old acquaintances, and make a significant contribution to making WordCamp Retreat an affordable, inclusive, accessible, and wonderful experience for everyone involved. You can also be sure of our infinite gratitude!

Wir möchten für Euch das Beste aus der Zeit in Soltau machen. Und Ihr könnt das Programm jetzt mitgestalten.

Call for Speakers

Schlagt vor, was Ihr gerne vortragen wollt. Macht uns neugierig auf Eure Präsentationen! Wir freuen uns über Eure Vorschläge aus den Bereichen Community, Entwicklung, Design, Contributing, Business, Security und vieles mehr.

Call for Activities

In den Nachmittagsstunden soll die Community gestärkt werden. Lasst uns wissen, was Ihr Euch vorstellen könnt. Alles ist erlaubt im Brainstorming: von Jam-Sessions, über Spiele-Sessions und Gesundheitsthemen – Hauptsache es ist nicht zu WordPress- oder arbeitslastig. Wir wollen alle zusammenbringen und die Gemeinschaft fördern, Designer mit Developern, Anwender mit Hardcore Entwicklern.

Call for Workshops

Du arbeitest an einem Projekt oder willst anderen auf interaktive Art und Weise dabei helfen, ihre Skills zu verbessern? Nutze die Chance uns Deine Workshop Idee vorzustellen. Der Sonntag steht ganz im Zeichen des Tuns! Machen wir Projekte fertig, überwinden wir gemeinsam Hürden, die immer wieder im Wege stehen.

 

Im Sinne des Events versuchen wir bei der Länge unserer Programmpunkte im Rahmen der Möglichkeiten flexibel zu sein. Ein klassischer Talk sollte um die 40-45 Minuten haben, Workshops und Aktivitäten können durchaus länger dauern.

Nutzt unser Formular für Eure Vorschläge und Ideen. Aber lasst Euch nicht zu lange Zeit denn der Call for Speakers & Workshops und Activities endet am 18. Februar 2018.

SHARE YOUR AWESOME IDEAS!

We want to make the best out of the event in Soltau. And it is up to you to share your great ideas to become a speaker, workshop lead or activity master.

Call for Speakers

Choose a topic which you would like to talk about and make us curious about your upcoming presentation! We are looking forward to your suggestions from the fields of community, development, design, contributing, business, security and many more.

Call for Activities

We want to strengthen our community during the afternoons. Let us know, what you can imagine doing to achieve this goal. Anything goes – from jam-sessions, board games over wellness and health topics, physical exercise and/or relaxing activities – as long as it is not too strongly related to WordPress and daily work. We want to connect all attendees, designers and admins as well as bloggers and hardcore developers.

Call for Workshops

You are working on an interesting project or want to help others interactively improve their skills?

This is your chance to introduce your workshop ideas. We’re ready for doing stuff! We will work on projects and overcome persisting issues together.

 

In the spirit of the event, we try to be flexible in terms of the length of our programme items. A classic talk should last about 40-45 minutes, workshops and activities can take longer.

WordCamp Retreat Soltau is awaiting about 250 WordPress enthusiasts. This is an unique opportunity to advertise your products or services and to support the Open Source Project WordPress.

To make the event a success, we need your support. Our goal is to be able to organize a valuable event for every attendee. With your sponsorship you support the WordCamp Retreat Soltau as well as the open source project WordPress itself and help the active community to make WordPress even better.

In addition to top-class presentations from the WordPress community, we also plan workshops, leisure activities and networking events. All 250 participants will stay overnight on site.
